Here at CanadianHomebrewSupplies.com we were pondering which homebrews we’ll be entering in The Bruery‘s next “Batch” Homebrew Competition. And we thought we’d send out a reminder so you can ponder the same. Deadline is coming up early next year, entries must be entered between the dates of January 21, 2012 and February 1, 2013.
As far as we can tell, Canadians are eligible for this competition again this year, but you are required to be an AHA member. The winning recipe will be brewed by The Bruery and entered into the Great American Beer Festival in the Pro/Am Category!
Contest is BJCP certified, but they will only be accepting the following categories:
13F – Russian Imperial Stout
16 – Belgian & French Ale
18 – Belgian Strong Ale
19 – Strong Ale
20 – Fruit Beer
21 – Spice/Herb/Vegetable Beer
22 – Smoke-Flavoured & Wood-Aged Beer
23 – Specialty Beer
For more rules and information about the competition, see The Bruery Batch No. 1000.
